SignIt

Terms of Use

Last updated: July 8, 2026
The short version: SignIt is a tool that runs on your device. Your documents are yours and stay with you, which also means you are responsible for keeping them backed up. The optional Pro subscription renews yearly through Apple and can be cancelled anytime in your App Store settings.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using SignIt ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies as a minimum. Apple is not responsible for the app and has no obligation to provide support for it; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

2. What SignIt does

SignIt lets you scan, import, edit, sign, and export documents. All processing and storage happen locally on your device. The app does not provide cloud storage, syncing, or online backup.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the app, except to the extent applicable law permits this despite these terms.

4. SignIt Pro subscription

5. Your documents and your responsibility

Everything you create in SignIt stays on your device. That is a privacy feature, but it also means:

You are responsible for the content of the documents you scan, sign, and share, and for having the right to use them.

6. Signatures

SignIt places an image of your signature onto a document. Whether a signed document meets the legal requirements for a given purpose depends on the laws that apply to you and the type of document. SignIt does not provide certified or qualified electronic signatures, identity verification, or legal advice, and we make no guarantee that a document signed with the app will be legally valid or enforceable for your specific use. When in doubt, consult a qualified professional.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app for anything unlawful, including forging signatures, falsifying documents, or violating the rights of others.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that scanned or exported documents will meet any particular standard of accuracy or quality.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, documents, profits, or business, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amounts you paid for the app (including any SignIt Pro subscription) in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may terminate this license if you materially breach these terms.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the competent courts there, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
